Write a concise help desk escalation summary

Give the receiving owner the decision, evidence, customer impact, and requested action in one readable handoff.

Direct answer

An escalation summary should open with the decision or assistance needed. Follow it with the verified facts, customer impact, steps already taken, and the reason the current team must stop.

Name the receiving owner and the response checkpoint. Do not send a ticket to a group without showing who watches for the next action.

Keep evidence linked to the ticket and label anything unverified. A long transcript is not a substitute for a clear requested decision.

Review returned escalations for missing facts and wrong destinations. Update the summary pattern when the receiving owner repeatedly asks for the same context.
