A useful owner review of help desk support work
Bring queue health, customer impact, quality findings, access changes, and decisions into one evidence-led review.
Direct answer
An owner review should answer what needs attention now, what changed, and which decision is required. Bring a small sample of open, transferred, reopened, and recently closed tickets instead of relying only on aggregate counts.
Read queue age with customer impact, priority exceptions, missed checkpoints, and unowned work. Read quality with answer accuracy, notes, routing, scope, and whether the customer received an honest next step.
Include changes to access, coverage, articles, and escalation ownership because they alter what the support team can safely do. Keep approvals and sensitive decisions with the named owner rather than treating review attendance as approval.
End with explicit actions, owners, and checkpoints. The next review should be able to tell whether the change improved the underlying request path or only moved work between queues.
